Trichome

Formed in 2005, Trichome is a Northern Colorado-based band that attempts to merge the sounds of world music and jam rock. At the core of its style, however, are the laid-back grooves, upstroke guitar strumming and thick bass lines of reggae and dub. The six-piece has slowly developed its audience, thanks in large part to supporting larger acts such as Groundation and Eek-a-Mouse during live performances. Now, it has become a known quantity in the jam rock music festival community, able to bring its own crowd of reggae, rock and world music listeners.
