Formed in 2005, Alabaster Brown is a roots rock band from St. Louis, Missouri that has been creating buzz for itself with a powerful live show and well-rounded approach to songwriting. Though the group had been playing shows for a few years prior to releasing its debut LP, Mississippi Mud Stomp, the band's first album, helped solidify Alabaster Brown as a reliable source for forward-thinking alternative rock. As the group continues to tour, play festival shows, refine its sound and employ unique elements in its music, the band's reputation as one of St. Louis' more interesting bands will no doubt continue to grow.
