When a few musicians got together in 2006 for an impromptu jam session in Memphis, Tennessee the sonic material birthed was of such high caliber that it made the musicians giddy to from a band with one another. A unique blend of bluegrass and folk, tinged with elements of jazz improvisation, the band Devil Train has resonated well with followers of the diverse scene in Nashville and beyond who are looking for something a bit more unique than a run-of-the-mill and over-commercialized country rock band. As the band continues to tour and release interesting studio material, the instrumentalists in Devil Train become more and more talented and aware of what is and isn't possible within the confines of the music they create.
