About
Based out of San Marcos, Texas, Holding Space formed in 2009 and quickly moved to the forefront of the Texas jam band scene. The five-piece leans toward 1970s style free-form psychedelia, but also incorporates unusual elements into its music, including Didgeridoo instrumentals. Striving to create music that allows its listeners to have "intense musically healing experiences," Holding Space has spread its sound across Texas and departed on its first out of state tour in 2011.
