Hank & Cupcakes is a two-piece electropop outfit from Brooklyn that emerged in 2008. Composed of husband-wife duo Sagit and Ariel Scherbacovsky, respectively known as Cupcakes and Hank, the band offered its first recording, the Ain't No Love EP, in 2012 with BMG Rgihts Management, capturing a disco-infused sonic style that parallels the vibrant energy of New York City. Hank & Cupcakes released its debut studio album, Naked!, in 2013.
