Tommy Stinson is a bassist from Minneapolis, Minnesota who is probably best known as a founder and the bass player of the seminal alternative rock group The Replacements. After the group broke up in 1991, Stinson would go on to helm the short-lived rock act Bash & Pop as well as the band Perfect before going on to serve as bassist with Guns N' Roses in 1998. Though Stinson released his debut album, Village Gorilla Head in 2004, he still actively serves as bassist with Guns N' Roses as well as The Replacements when the group reformed in 2013.
