Mark Farina is a DJ from San Francisco who is known for the innovative work he has done in the acid jazz scene. Born and raised in Chicago, Farina developed a strong interest in house music after falling in love with the genre at a local record store. After moving to California and evolving his DJ style, Farina would go on to release the widely popular Mushroom Jazz series starting in 1996. With a defined downtempo rhythmic style that incorporates jazzy, organic productions, Farina has built a solid reputation for himself as one of the West Coast's more respected DJs.
