Jerome Najee Rasheed, who performs and releases music simply as Najee, is a jazz saxophonist and flautist from New York City. WIth a smooth playing style that managed to gently assuage listeners, since releasing his debut album, Najee's Theme, in 1986, Najee has kept busy, releasing additional well received album, touring regularly and collaborating with the likes of Chaka Kahan, Prince, Jeffrey Osborne and Marcus Miller.
