Fister is a metal band from St. Louis, Missouri that was founded in 2009. Comprised of Kirk Gatterer, Marcus Newstead and Kenny Snarzyk, the trio makes an compelling style of metal that pushes boundaries of the genre. Releasing its debut EP, Violence, in 2012, Fister has since gone on to receive acclaim for its performances at notable music festivals like SXSW, Psycho Las Vegas and Roadburn.
