John Friedmann and Florian Simbeck operate as a comedic duo under the stage name Erkan and Stefan. The pair is known for its over-the-top accent which is a funny combination of an untrue Turkish accent, English slangs and the pair's own Bavarian accent. Having begun with slapstick comedy the duo has gone on to do several radio shows and stage performances covering a wide range of comedy styles. Erkan and Stefan has also graced the big screen via several German films.
