The Secret is a heavy metal band from Italy that is known for its brutal blend of grindcore and hardcore punk into a black metal foundation. Founded in 2003, the band quickly released its debut LP Luce. While supporting the album with a rigorous show schedule, the group developed a reputation for its relentless live performances. The Secret released its follow-up album Disintoxication in 2008.
