Mathias Eick is a jazz musician and composer from Norway. As a sideman, he's played with groups like Jaga Jazzist and with other artists including Jacob Young. He released his first record as leader, The Door, in 2008 and truly captured the range of his skill. Though his instrument of choice is the trumpet, he is also proficient at piano, guitar, vibraphone and upright bass. Eick dropped his third album, Midwest, in 2015.
