Nikolai Tokarev

Nikolai Aleksandrovich Tokarev, known professionally as Nikolai Tokarev, is a Russian pianist. A native of Moscow, he began studying music at the Gnessin Music School in 1988. After graduating, he continued his studies in Manchester at the Royal Northern College of Music and then at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf. Over the years, he has won a number of competitions and performed with orchestras including the National Philharmonic of Russia and BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
