Hot Flush! is a spunky, funny musical narrating the eventful lives of four women and one man: Myra, an ambitious, confident, and successful divorce lawyer whose husband abandoned her for his blond co-worker; Sylvia, who decides to break free from the shackles of her stale marriage and start living life on her own terms; Helen, a widow, who occasionally feels overwhelmed by her life as her only child leaves the nest to go to college; Jessica, a wealthy woman with sophisticated tastes whose picture perfect life loses its luster when her mid-life crisis hits, causing her to turn to her friends and a vicar; and Matt Slack, the lucky man who fulfills the roles in these four women's lives. This is a show where even if much of the storyline rides on lives of female characters, theater-goers of all ages and sexes can relate to it.
