The Snow Queen is a Danish fairytale by Danish author Hans Christian Anderson that tells the story about the struggle of good and evil as seen through the eyes of a child narrator. Having been adapted to various plays and operas over the years, The Snow Queen was first choreographed and produced as a ballet by the California Contemporary Ballet in 1998 and since then it has received numerous international revivals.
