Earth

Earth is a band from Seattle, Washington that makes a unique style of music by blending drone doom with psychedelic rock tendencies. Formed in 1989, the band would go on to pioneer a unique sound that capitalized off of the enveloping sonics of drone sounds as well as stoner rock riffing. Though Earth broke up in 1997, it returned in 2005 with a slightly different--slower and more melodic--sound that seemed to be a direct reflection of the band member's musical maturity.
