Primordial emerged out of Dublin, Ireland in 1987 with an extreme metal sound. Founded by bassist Pol Macamhlaigh and guitarist Ciaran Macuiliam, the group brings together the most intense aspects of black metal and folk metal. With each records, from 1995's Imrama to 2014's Where Greater Men Have Fallen, the band has expanded its reach into international metal communities.
