Stefan Gwildis

Known for his versions of classic soul hits, Stefan Gwildis is a musician from Germany who released his debut album, Gretes Hits in 1995. He was made famous in the early 2000s when he began reworking soul hits in his native language and released New Game. The 2003 album spent thirteen weeks on the top albums chart in Germany and earned Gwildis widespread national attention. His 2007 album Heut ist der Tag, peaked at #2, prompting a live album was released later the same year. Gwildis released his eight studio album, titled Frei Händig in 2012.
