Dedicated to the art of illusion, Jan Rouven is a magician from Germany who fell in love with magic when he received his first conjuring set as a child. After studying the craft and earning the support of The Magic Orvellis, a prominent German magic duo, Rouven began performing magic around Germany and eventually began traveling the world on cruise lines, proving himself an engaging entertainer. He captured the attention of Warner Bros. in 2000 and was booked for a season at Warner Bros. Movie World theme park. The show, titled Western Magic Show, ran for two years and was held in a theater that accommodates 2,500 guests. Rouven soon brought his illusions to Europe's biggest revue theater, the Royal Palace in Alsace, France where his show was dubbed The Man With Nine Lives, as well as Las Vegas, where he secured a residency for an all-new production titled Illusions.
