Bersani got his kickstart as an on-tour backup singer for Lucio Dalla in 1991, which turned into more than that when one of his own songs was released on Dalla's album, Amen. Some of this singer/songwriter's first big hits were Chicco e Spillo, Freak, and Cosa vuoi da me. Since, he has gone on to write music for other artists, as well as to contribute to movie soundtracks.
