Nicoletta Strambelli is an Italian singer who found fame as Patty Pravo. Debuting with her single "Ragazzo triste" in 1966, she ruled the charts all through the 1970s. Her self-titled album was released in 1968 along with one of her most popular songs - "La bambola." The album was a chart-topper and the single was certified gold. She followed up this success with many more releases and appearances at major music festivals such as the Sanremo Music Festival. She moved base to the USA in the 1980s and - after a fairly unsuccessful two decades - released the album Una donna da sognare in 2000, which became one of her most successful albums ever.
