Born and raised in Berlin, Walter Plathe is an actor and public speaker. He first came to attention on the television series Fernsehserie Der Landarzt, on which he played Dr. Ulrich Tescher, a role he maintained from 1992 to 2008. During his tenor on the show, he went on to make a name for himself in film and theater.
