This alternative rock group was formed in 1999 in the Salento area, in Puglia. Its name comes from the name of a species of grape that comes from the Salento zone. Though the band officially began making music in 2003, their big success is thanks to the Sanremo Festival, in which they won best new song of the year in 2005.
