A collaboration between the Konzerthaus Berlin and the prestigious Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin, the Musikforum Gendarmenmarkt is a music series which highlights the growing talents of students as well as other well-known classical musicians. Established in 1997, the concert series often hosts members of the Berlin Phillharmonic, Staatskapelle Berlin and even lecturers from the music school.
