Michael Brun

About

Michael Brun is a house music producer from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti who crafts a distinctive brand of electronic dance music inspired by disco, synthpop and the percussion-heavy Afro groove sounds of his native country. Although he grew up on the fast track toward a career in medicine, with the support of his professors at Davidson College, he took a leave of absence as a pre-med student in 2012 to pursue his music career. Throughout the next year, he produced remixes for some of the most prolific names in EDM and pop, including Calvin Harris, Tiesto and Alicia Keys, earning a record deal with Phazing Records as well as an international following along the way.
