Staubkind is a German alternative rock band that was founded in 2003 by vocalist Sven "Louis" Manke. Taking inspiration from bands like Linkin Park and Evanescence, Staubkind creates a distinctive nu-metal sound that's well suited for Germany's modern hard rock scene. Staubkind, the German name for "dust child," released its debut album, Traumfänger, in 2004, followed by its breakthrough sophomore effort 2007's Zu Weit.
