Biermösl Blosn

The Biermösl Blosn was a German, traditional Bavarian folk and comedy band, that existed from 1976 to January 2012 and was very influential on the German comedy scene. The band consisted of three members playing different brass instruments, accordion and singing in a Bavarian accent. Even so the band sounds totally traditional, the band contrasts that impression with very critical and political lyrics, making fun of traditional Bavarian values and singing about problems like xenophobia and racism in German society. They are also known for different collaborations with the German comedian Gerhard Polt or the punk band Die Toten Hosen.
