Hailing from Munich, Gerhard Polt is a Bavarian writer, actor, filmmaker and cabaret artist who is known for his biting satire. Tackling the politics and culture of Bavaria, he often takes on roles of ignorant Bavarian people, particularly the petite bourgeoisie. Since his first performance in 1976, he's risen as one of the great political minds and performers in Germany.
