Gerhard Schöne is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Dresden, Germany who initially rose to fame in the early-1980s with his distinctive style of soft rock. Releasing his debut album, Spar deinen Wein nicht auf für morgen, in 1981, Schöne continued to release LPs regularly throughout the 1980s and 1990s, helping to establish him as a stalwart performer on the German soft rock scene.
