Boy is a folk duo based out of Hamburg, Germany. The group makes delicately arranged, pop-inspired songs that bring to mind pastorally tranquil late summer afternoons. Composed of multi-instrumentalist singers Valeska Steiner and Sonja Milena Glass, the group's music might be instrumentally sparse, but the duo's lyrics and vocal poignancy help add layers of depth to many of Boy's songs. Releasing its debut album, Mutual Friends, in 2011, the group has since been busy building an international fan base with a near unrelenting international touring schedule.
