Heissmann + Rassauer is a comedic duo composed of Volker Heissmann and Martin Rassau. After teaming up in the 1990s, they opened their own cabaret venue in Nuernberg, Germany and quickly became known under their shared moniker, Heissmann + Rassauer.  Well-known for various characters, particularly the spinster alter egos Waltraud and Mariechen, the duo regularly appears on traditional German television shows as well as in ensembles all over the country.
