Prior to embarking on her solo career, the German chanson singer/songwriter Claudia Koreck was a vocalist in the well known pop group Orange Blue. Though confined within the limitations of the radio-friendly, pop song format, Koreck's time in Orange Blue gave the singer an opportunity to expand her vocal repertoire and familiarize herself with the music industry. After buckling under the creative trappings, Koreck launched a solo career, starting with her well received 2005 LP, Ins Gesicht.
