Caparezza is a rapper from Molfetta who got his big break in the Sanremo Music Festival in 1997 under the name MikiMix. He has since moved on and changed his name and his approach to music. His debut album CapaRezza ?! came out in 2000 and was his first step to revamping his musical career. Noted for his unique use of diction and metaphors in his songs, Caparezza is known to write tunes that span across the genres of rap, reggae, and hip hop.
