Cara is a German folk band consisting of Gudrun Walther, Kim Edgar, Hendrik Morgenbrodt, Jürgen Treyz and Rolf Wagels. The band makes Irish music and has been very successful in Europe and the U.S.. The band won the Irish Music Award for Top Group in 2011 and released their album Horizon in 2013.
