Agricantus is an ambient folk group from Sicily. Formed in 1979, the members consist of Tonj Acquaviva (voice and drums), Mario Rivera (bass) and Mario Crispi (woodwind). The group’s debut album, Gnanzù came out in 1993 and the group's name, Agricantus, is Latin for “song of the wheat fields.”
