About
Portland-based garage rock band Pierced Arrows formed in 2007 following the breakup of Dead Moon. Brothers Fred and Toody Cole, both former members of Dead Moon, banded together with drummer Kelly Halliburton and released Pierced Arrows first single "In My Brain"/ "Caroline," before dropping its first album in 2008, titled Straight To The Heart. The band captures the same independent DIY spirit of Dead Moon paired with a blues rock spin, most evident on its 2010 effort Descending Shadows.
