Tanzwut is a medieval metal band from Germany that takes its name from the German term for "dancing mania." Known for its heavy use of bagpipes, the band has earned an international fan base with its fusion of industrial electronic music and folk into a heavy metal foundation. Starting in the late 2000s, with releases like 2011's Weiße Nächte, Tanzwut shifted its style into an industrial metal approach with down-tuned guitars, harsher vocals and darker atmospheres.
