Jan Plewka is a singer/songwriter and actor from Germany who is best-known as the lead singer of the rock band Selig. After over a decade of performing with his long-time band, he released his debut solo album, Jan Plewka - Zuhause da war ich schon, in 2002. In addition to his music career, Plewka made his film debut in Hans W. Geißendörfer's 1989 film Bumerang-Bumerang and has also appeared in stage performances including a 2008 production of Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute.
