Christopher Brendan Ward is a rapper who operates under the sudonym MC Chris. Though initially rejecting the idea of being pigeon-holed into the nerdcore scene upon the release of his debut album, Life's a Bitch and I'm Her Pimp, in 2001, he has since embraced the community, fully melding his si-fi cartoon geek tendencies with a harder-edged hip-hop image. MC Chris released his tenth studio album, Marshmellow Campground, in 2013.
