Magic of the Dance is a theatrical performance that tells a love story through a blend of traditional Irish step dancing and various modern dance elements. With a soundtrack that spans centuries of Irish history, the show begins in Dublin at the beginning of the 20th Century, as more and more Irish emigrants are forced to flee to the US. A young couple meets at one of the last barn dances in Ireland, just before they are shipped off to different parts of an unfamiliar country. Fueled by dance and music, their few symbols of hope, they fight to find their way back to each other.
