Ingo Appelt is a German comedian, presenter and impersonator, who was born in the German city of Essen. He became famous in the early 1990s with his impersonations of German politicians and musicians and later started a career as a comedian and jokester. His often offensive and politically incorrect stories and jokes made him famous very quickly, but also led him being controversially discussed in the media.
