Johann König is a stand-up comedian from Germany who began his career in entertainment at an open mic night in 1997. He performed his first solo tour Alles Spekulatur!, in 1999, and by 2001 had earned recognition on the national comedy circuit as the winner of the German Comedy Award for Discovery of the Year. He has since collected a wide-spread audience with his animated brand of humor.
