Starlight Express is a rock musical created by the legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Chronicling the tale of a child whose train set comes to life, the show is a vividly portrayed and dreamlike experience full of elaborate sets, crazy lighting and actors performing on roller skates. Keeping in line with rock musical traditions, the show is comprised of original songs performed entirely live by an orchestra. Now past 25 years since its initial run in London's West End in 1984, Starlight Express continues to reach audiences around the world, proving its lasting relevancy from generation to generation.
