Hailing from Lübben, Brandenburg, We Butter the Bread with Butter is a German heavy metal band that combines deathcore with electronica to create one cohesive sonic aesthetic. Formed in 2007 as a duo, the band was quickly picked up by Redfield Records, who released its debut album, Das Monster aus dem Schrank, in 2008. After evolving into a three-piece outfit, the band dropped one more LP with Redfield before opting to take the independent route. We Butter the Bread with Butter released its third studio album and first independent offering, Goldkinder, in 2013.
