Fliehende Stürme is a German punk/dark wave band. Formerly known as Chaos Z, the band renamed itself in 1983 and started to make darker music that was inspired by bands such as Joy Division and Discharge. After the death of bass player Thomas Löhr in 1995, the band consisted mostly only of Löhr's brother Andreas and some guest musicians. The band has continued to make music, releasing their album Warten auf Raketen in 2011.
