About
Formed in 1967, Gong is a rock group that explores space rock, progressive rock and free-jazz. The group has experienced different genre concentrations and member changes over the years. Founder and original guitarist Daevid Allen eventually went off to create more bands, including New York-Gong in the 1970s.
