About
Born and raised in Texas, Buddy Whittington is a guitarist and songwriter with a blues-rock style inspired by a Southern rock sound. After replacing guitarist Kim Davis in the rock and roll band Point Blank, Whittington formed his own band The Sidemen, as the frontman and rhythm guitarist. After a decade run with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, he released his self-titled debut solo album with the Buddy Whittington Band in 2007.
