About
British rock trio Animal Kingdom is an indie/alternative act comprised of vocalist, guitarist and pianist Richard Sauberlich, bassist Hamish Crombie and drummer Geoff Lea. The Northern London-based band traveled to Seattle to record and release its debut album Signs and Wonders, in 2009, before joining Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Snow Patrol and Silversun Pickups on tour. The album was met with critical acclaim for its aching and melancholic melodies and lyrics. Animal Kingdom released its follow-up record in 2012, titled The Looking Away.
