The Icicle Works is a rock band from the UK that blends alternative and progressive elements. Formed in 1980, the band signed to Beggar's Banquet and issued its eponymous debut LP in 1984, and the album helped the band reach an international audience in the US. Despite earning a devout following in its home country and abroad, The Icicle Works disbanded in 1991 after releasing four more albums. Over a decade later, founded and lead vocalist and guitarist Ian McNabb reformed the band and wasted no time getting The Icicle Works back on the tour circuit in 2006.
