Formed in 1970, Curved Air is a progressive rock band from London that uses classical elements to create electronic folk rock music. One of the first bands to feature a violin player, Curved Air became known for pushing the limits boundaries of rock music, though it only spawned one hit, "Back Street Luv" from its 1971 record, Second Album. Despite its lack of widespread commercial success and its frequent reconstruction throughout its existence, the band continues to make its folk/rock/electronic fusion with the dreamy vocals of original singer Sonja Kristina.
